What if You Just Knew
"What if you just knew everything was working out perfectly? Trust."
This is a quote on a magnet that I bought in Breckenridge, Colorado on a family vacation several years ago. Little did I know that it would not only become one of my favorite quotes, but that it would also become a daily reminder for me when things aren't always black and white in my life. On the other hand, life in black and white would get boring real quick...wouldn't it?
If you would have told me when I was in high school that I would be married to a guy from Louisiana (that I would meet at the beach when I was 18) I would have told you that you were crazy! And look here I am married to a Cajun (almost 6 years) and I could not imagine my life any other way. I am telling you I love this man with my whole heart and then some! I am so grateful that I get to share the next chapters of my life with my best friend.
Had to get sappy on ya for a second...he does that to me...
We are entering a time in our lives where the next steps are sort of blurry on the page and we are having to rely a lot on our faith to guide us down the right path. The whole trust thing can be hard sometimes, but knowing there is someone greater than me looking out for us makes it a lot easier.
I have been blessed in this life so greatly and instead of letting myself worry about the parts I can't read yet, I am embracing this adventure called life and where it leads us.
The not knowing can be scary...but what happens when you realize its all working out perfectly?
That's trust.
