With summer officially arriving less than a month away, I am gearing up for all things parties, cocktails, and a beach trip with my family at the end of June!  I am craving salt water in my hair, sun-kissed skin, and a little relaxation with my favorite people.  One of the things I look forward to the most is creating cocktails for everyone to bring down to the ocean to go alongside some delicious snacks while we all soak up the sun!  I can't think of anything better than sipping on my ultimate summer Cajun Michelada!

What I love about this particular recipe for a Michelada is that it uses simple ingredients that can be whipped up in a matter of minutes!  The key ingredients here are Clamato juice, a delicious tomato and clam juice mixture, and any type of your favorite beer!  Clamato juice can be found on the juice aisle of your local Wal-Mart and is the quintessential ingredient to this classic cocktail!  I spiced mine up with a little Cajun spice which makes for one tasty drink!

I'm serving up my Cajun Micheladas with a seafood salad that I purchased from Walmart's deli section and then added a little flare with some jalapeno, cilantro, avocado, and lime juice!  These two are the perfect pairing together and the salad makes for the best dip with tortilla chips!  To me, it's the ultimate beach combo!  Salty, spicy, and everything I love about cocktails and appetizers!  I could totally see this duo happening at any summer get-together that you might be hosting or attending!

You can be sure that I will be making this combination all summer long, and especially on July 12th, which just so happens to be National Michelada Day!  I'm all about any holiday that encourages me to drink delicious cocktails and I know you are too!

If you are as excited about summer as I am, then you need to add these recipes to your "to-make" list asap and make sure to head to Walmart to snag these simple and delicious ingredients!
