Corned Beef and Cabbage Dirty Rice

Corned Beef and Cabbage Dirty Rice

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.

So comforting and full of flavor, Louisiana Dirty Rice is a traditional hearty dish that is full of ground meats, veggies, and of course rice. I created a fun spin on a classic recipe to create this delicious Corned Beef and Cabbage Dirty Rice featuring Tony Chachere’s Creole Dirty Rice Dinner Mix for the ultimate way to celebrate your favorite Louisiana flavors with an Irish twist!

Traditional dirty rice is made by browning different meats along with the holy trinity of celery, bell pepper, and onion and then gently folding in rice and having it all simmer together to achieve that golden color and deep flavor. I love using Tony Chachere’s Dirty Rice Mix because the flavor is already created for me, and it’s a no fail delicious meal every time. This version with sautéed corned beef and cabbage is such a delicious way to change things up and enjoy it for the month of March for St. Patty’s day!

You can make this corned beef and cabbage dirty rice in advance and simply reheat to serve or even freeze it if needed. It’s a great meal to have at any time of day and would be delicious with a fried egg on top for a fun brunch option too.

This dirty rice recipe is made by simply cooking the dirty rice dinner mix and folding the cooked rice into a mixture of browned corned beef and cabbage that is full of flavor. I top with green onions and dinner is done. You are going to love making this recipe for a new mashup of flavors you won’t be able to resist.
