Easy Apple Crisp
This post is sponsored by Zwilling, but all opinions are 100% my own.
Apples are in season and there is nothing I love more than baking them up into a delicious dessert. Not only does your house smell amazing, but it can be really simple too. I partnered with my friends at Zwilling to create this delicious and easy recipe for apple crisp that you are going to love. This recipe for easy apple crisp is also great for getting the whole family involved and your kids will love helping you prep the ingredients!
Zwilling just released their new kid friendly knives, the Twinny Kid Chef’s Knives that are safe and a great way to get your kids involved in the kitchen. My son loves to chop ingredients and I love that now he has his own special knives that can help him learn new skills in the kitchen while being safe at the same time. The Twinny knives have a stainless steel, rounded blade for safety when cutting and the hand and finger guard helps them keep the food in place safely while learning to hold the knife properly. The knives also come in a super fun package that kids that color on and it includes some kid-friendly recipes as well!
I am a huge fan of good knives in the kitchen, so I am thrilled that my son gets to have his very own too. My favorite knife the Pro Le Blanc line, the 7” Hollow Edge Slim Santoku knife is also a great addition in the kitchen and works perfectly for chopping lots of apples in this recipe. You will never regret investing in quality knives for your kitchen. They are the number one kitchen tool that I recommend everyone invests in!
Once the apples get chopped, you simply toss with the rest of the filling ingredients, place into a baking dish and top off with a delicious topping. The apple crisp stays in the oven until nice and bubbly and brown on top and then I like to serve it with vanilla ice cream while its still warm! You just can’t beat the flavor or the simplicity of this recipe!

4 Cups Chopped Apples
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp. Corn Starch
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp. Salt
For the Topping-
1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Salted Butter, cut into cubes

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Chop apples (peel if desired, but not necessary).
Add apples, 1/2 cup brown sugar, lemon juice, corn starch, cinnamon, and salt and toss to coat apples.
Add apple filling into a Staub baking dish and spread evenly.
Make topping by combining flour, oats, and brown sugar in a bowl. Add in cubed cold butter and work into the flour until texture is crumbly and butter is distributed.
Sprinkle the topping over the apple filling generously and then place into the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes until apples are tender and bubbling and topping is golden.
Serve with vanilla ice cream while warm.
