Nothing quite beats a good burger and these easy turkey burger salad bowls are a simple and healthier way to satisfy your burger craving any night of the week. This is a 20 minute meal from start to finish, making it ideal to whip up on even the busiest of nights. Ground turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, and a delicious special sauce dressing make for a delicious salad option that tastes just like your favorite burger. These easy turkey burger salad bowls are going to quickly become a family weeknight dinner favorite.
In addition to these burgers being simple and quick to make, you can take it a step further by meal prepping the ingredients at the beginning of the week for an easy and healthy lunch or dinner option all week long. I simply season up lean ground turkey with Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper and then sauté the meat up in a skillet versus making out individual patties for less mess and less cook time. I add the turkey burger meat to a bowl with lots of fresh veggies and my favorite burger toppings. This is completely customizable and you can add whatever you like into your salad!
Variations of this recipe:
Use ground beef, ground pork, or ground chicken instead of ground turkey.
Add cheese into the mix if you prefer.
Add crumbled bacon into the salad.
Add boiled eggs for extra protein.
Use your favorite lettuces. I prefer the crunch of romaine here, but iceberg, mixed greens, or a combination of these would work as well.
Ways to Meal Prep this Recipe:
Cook the ground turkey in advance and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Make the dressing and store in the refrigerator.
Chop all toppings and store in separate containers in the refrigerator.
This recipe is very versatile and can be made using what you have on hand at the time. It’s healthy, full of protein, and will satisfy even the biggest of burger cravings. You will not only love how easy this recipe is, but also how tasty it is too!
