Top Ten Favorite Fall Soups
Happy October! It’s officially soup season if you ask me and even thought it’s hotter than fall should technically be here in Texas! We have had a very rainy start to the season which has been perfect for making my favorite soups and getting me in the mood for all things pumpkin and cozy despite the heat. I sure love summertime, but I also really love fall. There is something about the season that just feels comforting and homey right? October is the month that Parks was born, cooler temps hopefully show up, and my favorite holidays are not far away! To kickstart the month, I have rounded up my top ten favorite fall soups to help you get in the cozy kitchen mode too!
This weekend we celebrated Parks turning three and headed to Hill Country here in Texas to go see Thomas the Train, went pumpkin patch picking, and ate some really good BBQ. It was the perfect weekend to get me excited for the season and of course Parks loved getting to see his favorite train live in person! I feel like until I have been to a pumpkin patch, it just doesn’t seem like fall and now that we have, I am in the zone! So bring on the soups, stews, pumpkins, and more! I’m ready!
I figured that you might be feeling the same way too so I’ve got you covered with soups of all kinds from chicken tortilla, to butternut squash and apple, beef and vegetable, white chicken chili and so many other delicious ones! These are all of my favorites that are perfect for game days, serving a crowd, or just an easy weeknight meal! You are going to love having this post saved for all season long, because if you are like me, you will want to make them all at some point or another! Soup is one of my favorite foods, especially at this time of year!
I can’t wait for you guys to give a few of these a try! They are all so delicious, I don’t even think I can pick a favorite! Happy October friends!
