Happy Thanksgiving week guys! I cannot believe that it is already that time and I haven't even been to the grocery store yet! I get a little bit of anxiety about getting to the store and beating the Thanksgiving rush of shoppers, afraid that they might buy all of my ingredients before I have a chance to. Does that happen to anyone else or am I just OCD? We were out of the town last weekend for my sister-in-law's wedding so I didn't get to the store during my usual time frame! Nevertheless, I will be shopping for ingredients today and one thing is for sure, I will be getting everything I need for my simple and creamy mashed potatoes.
Growing up my grandmother made the ultimate mashed potatoes, and I am pretty sure that they had a minimum of four sticks of butter, which is why they were so addicting. My recipe does not call for near that much butter, but I can guarantee you that they are just as addicting and on top of it all, are super easy too! The perfect dish to add to your holiday menu last minute!
I created this recipe for E-How and you can find the full tutorial and recipe here.
I am definitely a Thanksgiving side dish connoisseur and get way more excited for the sides than I do the turkey itself! These mashed potatoes should be a part of your holiday menu this week!
