You just found out that your significant other volunteered you to make something for that holiday party you have this weekend. Don't stress. Problem solved...make this dip.

It's is the easiest appetizer (maybe ever) and a sure crowd pleaser. It is a recipe that has been around for several generations in my family, in fact I don't think I have ever had it anywhere else. My Mom-Mom used to make it for holiday parties and I thought it would be nice to bring a new life to a vintage recipe.

I think it deserves a little spotlight in all it's delicious simplicity.

It is really quite tasty and is best served with Keebler Town House Crackers. And who doesn't love those? I could eat a whole sleeve.

It's four ingredients and you will love it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cans of Diced Green Chiles
  • 10 oz of Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tbs. Milk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a pie plate, empty your 2 cans of green chiles in the bottom and spread evenly. You will then top with your shredded cheese again evenly across the top of the chiles. In a bowl whisk your eggs and milk together until beaten well. Pour the egg mixture over the chiles and cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

That's it! How easy was that? Now you have a great appetizer that no one will know you popped into the oven last minute.
