For these bowls there is really no right or wrong mix here. I personally love to cook up a few different grains like quinoa, farro, or even some pasta and then also like to cook up some proteins like salmon, chicken, and eggs, and I also make sure to roast some veggies to go into the mix as well. I also cut up some fresh fruit to throw into a bowl if I am feeling in the mood for it. Truly the options are endless.
What I love about Zwiling Fresh & Save is that I can prep all of these ingredients on Sunday and they will stay fresh up to 5x longer than if I had them in a normal storage container. The system comes with durable containers with special lids from inside the container, leaving food (even berries) super fresh all week long. It’s also super easy to use. Simply place the lid on the container and attach the pump to the top. Turn it on and the pump will work its magic. Cook up your favorite grains, proteins, and veggies and keep them fresh all week long using Zwilling Fresh & Save system!
Ingredients:
2 Cups Cooked Farro
2 Cups Cooked Quinoa
2 Cooked Chicken Breasts
2 Pieces Cooked Salmon
1 28 oz Can Chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
6 Hard Boiled Eggs
1 Head of Kale (can sub spinach)
1 Head Cauliflower, roasted
2 Ears Fresh Corn
2 Cups Sliced Strawberries (can add blueberries as well)
For the vinaigrette-
3 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
2 Tbsp. Honey
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
Directions:
Add cooked ingredients to the Zwilling Fresh & Save containers or vacuum sealed bags and seal to remove the air.
Keep ingredients in the fridge and then pull out as need or alternatively you can mix and match your bowls before storing.
Make vinaigrette by mixing dijon, honey, vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl and whisk to combine.
Drizzle vinaigrette over top of bowl when ready to eat.
