Not a fan of blackberries or just can’t find any fresh ones? Swap blueberries instead!
You love the idea of a blackberry margarita, but don’t do spicy…that’s okay, just omit the jalapeños!
You don’t have a cocktail shaker…no worries, just mix everything in a large measuring cup or. a large glass and use a fine mesh strainer instead. (if you don’t mind bits of blackberry seeds, you don’t even have to strain it.)
If you don’t love a salted rim, simply swap it for sugar instead.
If you don’t have access to crushed ice, just use cubes or crush it yourself in a food processor.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Blackberries
4-6 Slices of Fresh Jalapeno
1/2 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
4 Oz. Tequila
2 Oz. Water
1 Tbsp. Agave (use more as desired)
Crushed Ice
Zest from One Lime
1/4 Cup Kosher or Sea Salt
Directions:
Smash blackberries and jalapeños with lime juice, tequila, water, and agave in a cocktail shaker and add ice and shake until chilled.
Add lime zest and salt to a plate and mix.
Take a lime wedge and rim two glasses and then place the glass into the salt and lime zest mixture to create a salted rim around each glass.
Fill the glasses with crushed ice and then strain the blackberry margaritas over top of the ice.
Garnish with extra lime wedges, jalepeno, and blackberries and serve immediately.
