Everybody has a favorite smoothie. There are a bajillion smoothie recipes out there and you can really put just about anything you want into a blender and come up with your own version of a smoothie. I know that, I know that you might not really NEED my recipe for my favorite smoothie too, but I'm going to share it with you anyway. Humor me... My pineapple, strawberry, and spinach smoothie is the perfect breakfast/afternoon pick me up and lately with the weather getting warm I could drink one everyday.
I am married to a man who loves to get smoothies from a certain chain store and really is not a fan of homemade smoothies. Every now and then I make a smoothie that he decides is up to par with his idea of what a smoothie should be. I try to explain that my smoothies don't have as many calories and are better for him because I am controlling the ingredients. But, nevertheless he would rather buy his favorite.
That is where we differ, I love making my own smoothies at home. I can use whatever ingredients I happen to have in the fridge and lately this one is my favorite combination. This smoothie is full of vitamins, and other good for you ingredients that will fuel your body and make you feel really good too!

- Serve immediately.
Smoothies like this one have been great for me during this pregnancy because even when I wasn't digging healthy food, I have always loved my smoothies. Luckily, I have passed that stage, but my point is smoothies are a great way to sneak in good for you ingredients for your picky eaters, especially those kiddos!
